Psa Ar Kits - Why not Basically it's for NFA. For those who don't know, any gun less than 26 inches in overall length or with a barrel less than 16 inches requires an approved ATF permit to make it legal to shoot. If you assemble a rifle that is less than 26 inches overall or less than a 16 inch barrel, you have committed a felony and will lose your gun rights if caught. With an AR rifle, you can change these NFA laws because of the Obama administration. That's the only good thing the ATF has done. Other than that, a shotgun and short barreled rifle are a good idea. With a pistol and the ability to legally conceal it, for example... You can put your AR pistol in a car (local CCW laws allow), which is great for handguns. You can transport it across national borders without requiring government permission! It means a lot to me because I live on the border of Oregon and Washington, I live in Washington and I drive 30 minutes to shoot in Oregon. If I had to submit NFA paperwork to the government every time I wanted to shoot, I would be put on a watch list. Weapons are just ideas.

I chose the PSA for my AR rifle because I could afford it. (Editor: We just published an article about PSA availability! Hatas gonna hate.) It all comes down to money, and that's where PSA comes in. They offer a high quality product... PSA creates their products every day, they are a tool that anyone can find and have a good gun. The PSA owner also wants rifles in the hands of as many Americans as possible because he hates gun laws. He really hates gun laws and wants more rifles around and if some form of gun law is passed he will have enough rifles to make the law invalid. I support it 110%!! It's like corporate America!

A Parable For The Poors: Palmetto State Armory V.s. Everyone

I cannot stress this enough; PSA products, their original quality, are the best for most shooters. It's a great starting point for a rifle. This gives you a chance to shoot an AR15 and find out what works for you and what doesn't. When you know what you need, you expand. It may not be as good, and it won't be as cheap as a $1,500 BCM or Daniel Defense rifle, but they're not trying to be those guys. They want their rifles to be reliable, so they've done quite a bit of that. They want to be fair enough, and they are, but they don't deserve a fair level. While these guns leave room for improvement, they allow the shooter to decide what needs improvement.

My PSA pistol has a 10.5 inch, 1:7 twist, nitrided barrel. Their site doesn't say if it's a 4150 CMV barrel or something else. It has M4 feed plates. It has a front sight socket marked "F" attached to the housing. It took me hours using the wrong tools to remove the damn thing to put the free handguard on. I have faith that nothing will change if I continue. And standard drop protection is a metal heat shield. The top is carved with a 7075 T6.

The 10.5″ top was ordered removed and attached to some of my items. I purchased a low precision airfield and bought a PSA sba3 gun low body to complete the build. The bottom box contained everything I needed to complete the build below. The top was missing the BCG and hand grip which is fine for me. I planned to change that, I decided to go with a set of Toolcraft black nitride bearings and a Radian Raptor LT grip. So far I have spent $550 on everything I mentioned and a Midwest Industries 9.5" free float MLOK handguard. When replacing a handguard the first thing to do is put a free float handguard on. free it hurts!!

Throughout this review and the time I've had this rifle, I've never had an easy time with it. I didn't drag it behind the car or throw it out of the house, but I treated it like crap. He simply threw it into the back of trucks, hitting various farm equipment and weapons. When I go somewhere with it and get where I'm going, I just drop it on the ground. My thoughts on guns and optics are just that, not fixed. I think that everything happens after being fired, after trusting in something and turning around. It needs to be able to throw, hit something, not clean, and still go and hit what I mean every time, which is what this rifle and optic combo does so well. My concern now is the gas block. If it is an A2 scope that is fixed, this rifle will be certified. I wanted to float it so I had to remove the A2 and put in a lower gas block. The gas block has two screws that are friction locked to the barrel because there are no holes. I've never had a problem with it, and if I do, it's my fault, not PSA's. Count around 500-650. 10/10 highly recommend PSA for its reliability.

After spotting, I was able to get a good 3 shot group (not counting the fly) with my MRO at 50 yards. My finger covered the joint. When I saw it, I quickly walked 200 yards and got comfortable. It's hard for me to pass from lying down. This allowed me from a 10.5 inch barrel. 200 yards with consistent comfort? Needless to say, this barrel was accurate with the Hornady Frontier M193 loading.

From the tape the first shot, the fourth group was my last sighting group at 50 yards!

I want to take a minute to talk about Hornady Frontier ammo. Their Frontier line of ammo is manufactured at the Lake City facility where the American Eagle is manufactured. Hornady won the contract from the Lake City plant. In this way, the Frontier brand utilizes Hornady bullets, cases and primers, as well as the incredible durability and performance offered by the Lake City facility. Loading the Frontier M193 is the same place the military gets their M193 ammo (correction: mostly air, I should look it up!). Hornady makes 55gr to 75gr ammo. I highly recommend checking out Hornady Frontier ammo. I've had amazing luck with it and it's very accurate for cheap ammo! Ammo review coming soon.

The fit and finish of the box is excellent. The black anodizing matches my Aero precision bottom very well… and is very close to the color of the industrial Midwest handguard I put on. The PSA above matches my Aero accuracy is very tight and accurate. There is no fluctuation and I would say it is perfect to have two different teams.

The Palmetto State Armory lowers kit also came with an Aero Precision lower. This is one of the best parts to put in an AR that I have used. If you want LPK, I can't recommend PSA enough, especially for the price. I really appreciate the inspiration because I think it's such a great resource. It's simple and heavy, I wish they would give a light spring!

The usual 3 hour meltdown! The small mound on the right is the only broken mound.

The PSA trigger is better for the price. I think my ALG is the best value, but PSA is better. It is simple but heavy with small size. Just straight wall and wall, I love it. No bag, just comfortable and heavy. I'm not in a hurry to change, I'm not going to replace it with ALG, because they are very similar. It's one of the things I can get the ALG trigger and it's better but the price
